Alabama Weather

Alabama is blessed with warmth and sunshine for the greater part of the year. Spring comes in March, and in October colorful fall foliage can be seen in the northern, central and southeast parts of the state. Snow is a rare winter occurrence except in north Alabama's higher altitudes.

Arkansas Weather

Arkansas enjoys a temperate climate and four distinct and beautiful seasons. Spring and fall feature moderate temperatures perfect for touring and outdoor fun. Arkansas average monthly temperatures range from 32° Celsius in the summer months to -1° Celsius in the winter.

Florida Weather

Florida enjoys a sub-tropical climate that promises long summers and short, mild winters perfect for year-round vacations to beaches, theme parks, cities and sites

Georgia Weather

Georgia enjoys mild temperatures all year round due to its latitude and proximity to the warm water of the Gulf of Mexico. While there is minimal snowfall in the northern part of the state, average monthly temperatures in the summer range from 27°-35° Celsius. . It offers some of the very best southern weather!

Kentucky Weather

Kentucky's mild climate features warm summers and moderate winters. Visitors should bring a light coat for spring and autumn evenings.

Louisiana Weather

Located on the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana has a humid and subtropical climate, with temperatures averaging 82° F (28° Celsius) in the summer. Spring and autumn are mild, and the temperature rarely drops below freezing even in winter.

Mississippi Weather

Mississippi's moderate southern weather encourages outdoors activities year 'round. The state experiences four distinct seasons, but temperatures are mild all year.

North Carolina Weather

The state experiences four distinct seasons with temperatures warmer on the coast than in the mountainous western part of the state. The higher elevations have brilliant fall color and snow throughout the winter.

South Carolina Weather

The coast experiences moderate climate year-round while the midlands and upcountry have four distinct seasons. Snow is rare in any part of the state.

Tennessee Weather

Tennessee has a generally mild climate year 'round but enjoys the changing of four distinct seasons. The highest point of the state is in the east and the lowest point in the west at the Mississippi River.

Virginia Weather

Virginia experiences four distinct seasons. Winters are mild on the coast with snow in the higher elevations. Summers are mild and pleasant throughout the state. Fall brings brilliant color throughout the state, and spring brings Virginia's Historic Garden Week with home and garden tours at the peak of springtime color.

West Virginia Weather

West Virginia has four distinct seasons with a wide variety average monthly temperatures and rainfall. Generally the state has warm to mild summers and moderate winters, except in the higher elevations. Peak fall color is generally during the first two weeks of October.
