Kentucky Weather
Kentucky experiences four distinct seasons, with warm summers and moderately cold winters. The daytime temperature during the summer averages 87 degrees. Conversely, the winter lows average around 23 degrees.
Spring and fall are arguably Kentucky’s most weather-popular seasons. In spring, Kentucky awakens with color and liveliness and is great for enjoying Kentucky’s many outdoor attractions, horse racing, bourbon tours and caving adventures.
During the fall, the weather in Kentucky brings about even more color. The first shades of yellow, red, and orange foliage can be spotted as early as mid to late September in some areas of the state, with a statewide peak somewhere around mid-October.
